School Days - Episode 9

Last time our love parallelogram turned into a love pentagon because Setsuna is ALSO in love with Makoto. I really don’t understand that, the guy is a complete toad. Though in Setsuna’s defense he did do something kind of heroic to win her over, so ironically she’s the most one out of all four girls. Still calling bullshit though… Time to start this one.

Kotonoha brings up a good point, if Setsuna cared so much about Sekai being with Makoto why did she kiss him? Unless… maybe it was Makoto who she was looking after this entire time and she only sees Sekai as a worthy replacement for her.

After some scenes about Setsuna not being allowed to help anymore with the fair or something along those lines. We get this really trippy play scene about a guy saying something about a flower and it mirroring the thing she did with Makoto. And then she vanishes. So I’m not sure if that was a dream.. or if she literally vanished or… something…

There’s another scene between Makoto and Sekai as if nothing happened, which I guess is true as far as she knows. I’m thinking by prediction from the end of episode 6 is going to end up coming true after all.

Then the bitch squad gives Kotonoha a hard time, because why wouldn’t they? They talk about her needing to send people to the break room because it’s tradition, but we all really know why they’re doing it.

Then Taisuke comes along and asks her out again, and fails. Kotonoha texts Makoto but he’s too busy playing grab-ass with Sekai. Though she seems to be sick of his shit and knees him right in the balls.

We cut to the bitch squad talking smack about Kotonoha when one of them leaves to go meet with her boyfriend. The remaining girls then push Katou into asking Matoko again which she does just as he’s deep throating a corndog. But get this, he agrees.

Forget Kotonoha, forget Sekai. Katou, who he’s talked to a grand total of once over the course of this series, that’s where it’s at.

We see them going around together reminiscing about the past when she asks him to go to the dance with her. Luckily Sekai comes and drags his sorry ass back to the kitchen before he can answer. I have never been happier to see her, by the way.

Then Kokoro shows up with a friend and we get a with more hilarious “Who exactly is your girlfriend Makoto?” dialogue.

Afterwards we cut to Kotonoha who was apparently called down by the school board when she runs into the bitch squad who suggest she goes to the break room with her boyfriend. (I know what they’re doing with that break room so I don’t like where this is going…) Then after that they make fun of her and tell her to admit Makoto isn’t her boyfriend and is going around with some other girl most likely which Kotonoha tells them off for before saying she’ll prove it to them.

Then we go back to Makoto who is thinking about and being asked who he’s taking to the freaking folk dance because I’m pretty sure he’s taking half the school at this point.

Then we go back to Katou who’s talking to Taisuke about the situation with Makoto. And honest to fucking god is that guy’s relationship status the only thing anyone ever cares about?

Eventually Taisuke admits to liking Kotonoha and Katou buggers off to tell Makoto about the way she feels suggesting Taisuke to do the same.

Then Sekai is all clingy… Makoto has twenty messages from Kotonoha… Katou is asking him to fuck her...

Which apparently he agrees to because of course he would. Damn it.

And when it finally looks like he’s gonna tell off Katou, the girl jumps him and pins him down on the bed. At which point he stops struggling.

Of course the bitch squad is still doing their thing to Kotonoha until they actually realize they’ve gone too far and stop.

Though Makoto still fucked Katou. At least he didn’t pick her over either of the other girls for the folk dance because I would’ve started shitting fucking bricks. If whoever he picks is the one who stays with him I honestly think he should pick Sekai at that point and leave Kotonoha to find someone who’s better to her. Or at least dedicated. I can’t believe I’m saying this but she’s honestly better off with Taisuke at this point. Yeah he’s a pervert, but at least he’s not a pervert AND a dick.

And I was right, that asshole picked Sekai. Why is there still three episodes of this? Why were there episodes of this past the sixth.

I’m very happy for Taisuke that he told Kotonoha the truth. Honestly. Someone had to and I’m very happy it was someone who has been honest from the start (albeit maybe a bit too much at times)

Fuck Makoto, fuck School Days. I’m out.

Until I inevitably return to cover that last three episodes of this mess. I swear to god if Makoto somehow ends up with Kotonoha in the end I will eat my leg.
